Timing is Everything

By Leanne Bishop, Health Fitness Specialist

Do you ever feel as if your work life is overflowing into other aspects of your life? Finding the perfect balance can be a challenge. A Harvard Business School survey published in Forbes found that a shocking 94% of working professionals worked more than 50 hours per week. In fact, out of these working professionals, nearly half of them acknowledged they worked more than 65 hours per week. That’s over half of the work week!

The finding above makes one thing certain: the improvement of time management skills is crucial in today’s workforce. From easy fixes to major changes, Forbes recommends that these basic tips will help find time you didn’t know you had:

  • Start small and build up
  • Let go of perfectionism
  • Unplug from technology
  • Exercise and meditate
